Drummer Kitchen Remodel

Before and After

About the Project

Our client was tall, causing the drop ceiling in their old kitchen to be a nuisance and hazard. Latitude 33 worked to open up and modernize the entire space.

The drop ceiling was removed to create additional clearance. Rather than just adding a standard brick backsplash, we carried the theme throughout the entire space to create an effect of the entire home being built out of brick. In lieu of wall cabinets, walnut floating shelves were installed. Further, a load bearing steel beam was added, taking the place of a tall, wood structural beam, and left exposed to give the space a taste of industrial feel. And, lastly, to tie the entire new space together, cedar tongue and groove wood ceilings were installed.
